I recently had the pleasure of joining host and international law attorney Edgardo Sobenes on an episode of Hablemos de Derecho Internacional.
I love counseling clients in Spanish. I learned Spanish when I lived in Spain for a year as a child and then went on to live in Argentina as well. Prior to attending law school, I worked as a Spanish interpreter in the Ohio court system. This podcast episode was challenging and very fun.
During the episode, I explained the United States court system before addressing common litigation scenarios faced by foreign companies doing business in the U.S. and litigation strategies for foreign companies. My mother, a Spanish professor, allegedly listened to the entire podcast and was highly impressed with my Spanish.
Recently, we had our website translated into Spanish (durst.law/es). We are focusing on representing foreign companies in U.S. cross-border litigation. We have a strong track record of successfully representing foreign clients, having represented clients from Argentina, Mexico, Spain, France, Korea, and Hungary.
Thank you to Edgardo and HDI for having me!
