Trial Practice

Durst Kerridge does not shy away from trying cases involving high stakes and complex issues.

Certain core tenets of our Trial Practice set us apart.

We begin preparing for trial at the outset of every case. We conduct early focus groups and stage mock trials. Throughout discovery, we constantly evaluate trial strategy and work to position the case for success at trial.

We believe that getting to know the client profoundly is an indispensable aspect of trial practice. When representing companies, we visit our clients’ businesses many times throughout the case to understand how they operate. We visit individual clients at their homes. This provides invaluable insight.

We welcome urgent and challenging trial matters. We are willing to enter cases shortly before trial or with an imminent preliminary injunction hearing. In such cases, we have a strong track record of ultimately obtaining favorable results.

At trial, we distill complex commercial disputes–payments industry disputes, intercreditor disputes, business torts, etc. –into clear and compelling storylines, tailoring our presentation to the jury, judge, or arbitrator.
